Personality:
    Fairly quiet and keeps to himself, Apollo isn't one to stick out in a crowd.  He tends to stand to the edges rather then in the middle, but this might just be because of his assassin training.  If you intrigue him, however, he'll be quick to chat with you to learn more about you.  He's not the most humorous, as jokes seem to fly over his head, and sarcasm?  He has no idea what that is.  He can be incredibly blunt without realizing it, so if he hurts your feelings because of it he probably didn't mean to, he just doesn't understand what he did.  So he'll probably apologize and ask what the heck he did.  If you cross him, it won't be pretty.  He won't necessarily kill you, just make your life terrible for a few days.  He can hold a grudge for a long time.  You may think you're cool with him when he actually still doesn't like you.  On the flip side, if you're nice to him and able to become his friend, he'll be one of the most loyal 'mon you'll ever meet.  However, he can be very overprotective at times, acting like a mother.  He can be very impatient and prefers to keep things moving instead of having to wait.
History:
    Apollo has never met his real parents, he was given to an orphanage when he was very young.  He grew up on his own, no one really paying much attention to him.  He was a fairly good child, quiet and without fuss.  A few years in another child got sent to the same orphange, a seawaddle, and Apollo decided to take care of the young one, considering he pretty much had no one but him.  They basically became siblings over the years and did everything together.  Sure they were still at the orphange, but they were happy.  Apollo's proclaimed sister dreamed of being a mage, while Apollo dreamed of being a brave hero.  They often pretended they were so and they agreed to help each other achieve their dreams.  Then came a day where everything changed, his sister got adopted!  Since they weren't true siblings, they didn't have to take Apollo with them, which they didn't anyways.  So this left Apollo all alone in the cramped orphange.
    As time went on, Apollo kept mostly to himself, dreams fading.  However, when there were younger children, he tried to make an effort to keep them happy, as he did with his sister.  Eventually the orphange was shut down, leaving the kids to live on the streets or get sent to another orphanage.  Apollo chose life on the streets, well more like fled, to see if he could find his lost sister.  As he lived this way he started to learn how to pickpocket and steal from street vendors so he wouldn't be hungry.  He was quite the little nuisance, but he found it to be quite fun and often teased the people he was stealing from.  Small and fast, he was not caught often.  Eventually he evolved into a grovyle, and seeing as how much larger he was he had to be more careful.
    One day he made the grave mistake of trying to pickpocket someone who looks quite wealthly.  He was easily caught, turning tail and fleeing he ran into a dead end on accident.  The person he tried to pickpocket followed him into the alley, the man was a toxicroak, and approached the young boy.  Of course, Apollo was scared senseless, thinking that this moment might be his last.  But instead he was approached with a proposition.  The toxicroak said he saw potential in the young grovyle and asked Apollo to join his guild.  Of course Apollo was quite confused by this action, and asked what guild it was.  The toxicroak easily replied that it was an assassin's guild.  Either join the guild, or the toxicroak would turn him into the authorites.  Having no other choice, Apollo went with the toxicroak to the guild.
    Upon arriving, he was given many suspicious looks.  The toxicroak, who introduced himself as Gage, took him to the guild master.  Upon meeting the guildmaster, he was told he had to go through initiation to prove his worth.  The initiation?  Fight one of the senior members of the guild, who was, ironically, a sceptile.  Now Apollo, being more of a thief, had not really fought much in his line of work.  So he was easily beaten, but not before showing off some of his nimbleness from his thiefing traits.  That ability is what got him into the guild.  His trainer was to be Gage and they immediately went out to train.  Over the next few months, Apollo was trained to be a good assassin, and the time came for him to take his first job.  It was an easy one, assassinate a traveling merchant that double-crossed the client.  With that, Apollo went out to complete his mission.  Upon finding the merchant, he followed the character onto a small path in the forest, no other pokemon in sight.  What could've been easily done, Apollo hesitated.  This man had done nothing to him, in his eyes he was perfectly innocent.  His hesitated made the perfect chance of assassination go to waste as another pokemon came on the trail.  Apollo, deciding to let the man live for today, decides he'll clear his head and try again tomorrow.
    Through much decision making, Apollo decided that staying loyal to the guild, his home, and to his new family was of greater importance.  So that night, he found the merchant, snuck up on him and killed him.  Returning the the guild, he got his pay and was welcomed more warmly then his first arrival.  With each mission Apollo found himself getting more and more comfortable with the job.  Eventually he evolved and was recongized as one of the best in the guild, he achieve higher rank within the guild and he was happy.  His dream of becoming a hero long forgotten.
    However, as a few years pass, Apollo found out a secret within the guild.  The sceptile he fought on initiation was planning on double-crossing the guild!  He was going to kill the guild leader, and in the confusion sell them out to the authorites for a load of wealth.  When Apollo found this out, he caught the sceptile and called him out when they were alone.  This lead into a fight between the two.  The older sceptile, having a mega stone, used it and easily took down Apollo.  After he did so, he took Apollo back to the guild and said that Apollo was going to kill the guild leader and sell them out!  This lead to Apollo being cast out, instead of killed, thanks to Gage.
    Now that he was rogue, he took odd jobs with clients before they got on the guild's radar.  Now using his skills once again as a thief, or assassin, Apollo swore vengeance on the sceptile.  Eventually, after a lot of training, he crossed paths with the sceptile once again.  This time, using his new skills and fueled by rage, Apollo took down the other sceptile and, letting his emotions get the best of him, killed the sceptile.  Taking the mega stone from the other, he claimed his prize and left.  Only to be stopped by some of the other guild members, they saw the whole thing.  Apollo tried to explain, but without avail.  The guild members attacked.  Having no score to settle with them, Apollo fled, chased by his former family.  The only reason he got away is because Gage, his old mentor, turned on the guild, believing Apollo, and fought them off while letting Apollo escape.
    Now alone, he arrived at the school, taking the last words of his mentor and putting them to good use.  He told Apollo about the school.  Now that Apollo arrived, he hopes to change and become more like the worthy hero he always wanted to be.  And maybe someday, find his sister.

Weapon:
His primary weapons are the sharp leaves on his arms.  When needing a large distraction, or a longa range attack, he'll use the many seed bombs lining his back.  His tail can be used to hit oppenents and knock them over.  And of course, like most assassins, he has a few hidden weapons if his normal defenses aren't enough.
